- A few days ago he helped deliver donated supplies to a school in Kabul where he met a 16-year old student who expressed much thankfulness for ISAF's efforts
- He's working two jobs now: the one at his former rank and another as chief petty officer
- The moustache-growing contest has begun (I anxiously await more updates on this one but am not putting any money on DH being the grand champion)
- He has already voted for the next president

Hello Chris, I haven't posted in a while. I am glad to know you are safe and doing well. I am glad to hear Carol you are doing well also, Brittany got her Learner permit for driving can you believe that. Jay and I are doing well. Trey is doing well. We lost our cat yesterday. She had gotten very sick and had to be put down. (Priscilla) we still have Elvis, We will miss her greatly. Well I just wanted to send you a line or two.
