The latest batch of referrals from the China Center of Adoption Affairs (CCAA) was for families whose applications were received April 4 and 5, 2006. Another small batch. NO, WAIT - another small batch in terms of number of days, but apparently a relatively large amount of children and parents were matched within this batch. Estimates are for for the next batch to cover up to near April 11.
We are looking into China's special needs/waiting children program. Maybe a little boy is in our future?!?

Make that a "big" baby boy! :o)
How do you think he will feel about being named Helen?
I am adopting from the special needs program. Do you know a cleft lip is a special needs....certain birth marks...treatable heart conditions... Our daughter has multiple handicaps that not all could handle, but I would definitely consider looking at the special needs adoptions. There are some that you say, really, is that a special needs... You can be on both lists at the same time. Anyways, not sure how I found your blog. I wish you the best of luck in whatever you choose. I can not imagine how hard it is to wait this long.
