Adoption Status Update
The latest batch of referrals from the China Center of Adoption Affairs (CCAA) was for families whose applications were received April 6 through 11, 2006 (8th and 9th were weekend days). I estimate the next batch to cover up through April 17.

Chris and Carol, I spent some time on RQ's blog and while I could not make heads or tails of the tables I did hear the hopes and optimism of expectant parents in most of the entries. I can not find the words to express my feelings of how difficult/thrilling/tiring/anxious/longing it must be as you continue the journey to receive your child. My love and prayers to both of you
Hi, my wife (Amelia, who is American) and I live in Sydney Australia. I have monitoring your blog and I was interested in the fact that you have for more knowledge of the allocations than what we do. We were logged into CCAA in April 2007, also with an expectation of a faster turnaround. I would love to know the source of your information as the government agency here in Australia is limited in their reporting. This (no information) has been just as frustrating to us as the wait. Kind regards Darrold Cordes
